Some people say it takes a village to raise a child, and to be honest, they aren’t far off! We could not minister to these young people without the support of you, the parishioners of Saint Andrew. From donations, to volunteering, to continued prayers, this ministry and the very real encounters of Christ that the youth experience would not be possible without you!

That being said, if you are new to this ministry, here are some ways you can get involved in the lives of these incredible young people by sharing your Time, Talents or Treasure:

At the weekly youth ministry meetings, teens experience Christ in games and activities, prayer, talks by members of the Core team, and faith sharing among peers and adults. To be a member of the Core Team means that you are present at weekly gatherings and ready to serve the youth in whatever ways you can. It is a rewarding experience to get to know the youth and to help walk with them on their faith journey in whatever way that calls for! If you are interested in being on the Core Team for middle school (Sundays from 4-5pm), Confirmation preparation (Sundays, once a month from 3:30-5pm), or high school (Sundays from 5:30-7pm), please contact Paul Bates at paul@saclemson.org
Every week when the youth gather together for talks, games, and faith sharing with their peers. Between their two separate meetings, the middle and high school students share a meal together every Sunday from 5-5:30pm. This is great for fellowship and community building between the middle and high school groups. You can help by providing home cooked meals for the youth to enjoy together on a week that is convenient to you. If you are interested in being a part a volunteer meal provider, please contact Adrianna Kurfess at akurfess@alum.mit.edu or sign up online.
Giving to the youth ministry program is an investment. Your contribution helps the youth go to conferences, mission trips, and retreats. These events are where the teens can take a step out of the busyness of life in order to focus on Christ and what it is He wants to tell them. The results of these experiences are life changing, and for you to be a part of that is a blessing! You can make checks payable to St. Andrew Youth Ministry. Another way you can donate is taking part in our Stock Investor program, in which you pledge to donate a fixed amount of money, and in return, you are updated periodically about the happenings of the ministry.
